Geo Stacking Chair Set of 12

The Geo Stacking Chair Set of 12 provides shaped, lightweight seating for classrooms, dining areas and school canteens. Each chair combines a moulded shell with a curved waterfall front edge and shaped lower-back support on a four-legged frame. Four seat-height options and eight colours allow schools to choose a coordinated configuration, while stacking up to eight high helps with storage. Exactly 12 chairs are supplied in one selected height and colour.

Practical seating for school dining and shared spaces

Geo’s use extends beyond classroom desks. The range is also marketed for canteens and dining rooms, making it relevant where schools need separate chairs around lunch tables or in shared eating spaces. The curved front edge rolls away from the sitting surface, and the shaped back provides the chair’s lower-back support. These are physical design features, rather than promises of a particular health or behavioural outcome.

The wipe-clean construction is useful after meals, when staff need to deal with marks and spills before the next sitting. Separate chairs can be moved individually to access the floor or alter the seating arrangement. The lightweight construction helps with repositioning, although the way chairs and stacks are moved should still reflect the room and the people handling them.

The set of 12 suits a defined dining group or a smaller seating allocation within a larger canteen. Check table fit carefully: the 350mm and 380mm chairs measure W440 × D420mm, while the 430mm and 460mm versions measure W500 × D460mm. The taller sizes therefore require a wider place along the table. Plan room for pupils to sit down, move backwards and pass behind occupied chairs.

Classroom activities and flexible learning layouts

In teaching spaces, Geo can be arranged around shared tables, beside individual desks or at activity stations. Pupils sit on the shaped shell to read, write, draw, sort resources or work with construction materials. The chair offers a consistent seated place as the activity changes, and its four-legged frame gives the same basic format throughout the range.

A pack of 12 can furnish a smaller teaching group or be divided among several tables. For example, chairs can serve a collaborative model-building task, a reading station and a writing activity within the same room. Children explain ideas, compare what they have made and handle resources as part of those tasks. These are opportunities created by teaching and participation, rather than developmental effects produced by the chair.

The colour options are Flame, Mulberry, Ocean, Onyx, Red, Sky Blue, Slate and Yellow. Choose one colour for all 12 chairs. This gives a consistent appearance around a dining table or within a classroom group, while photographs showing several colours illustrate the available options rather than the contents of a mixed pack.

Choosing the size, caring for chairs and planning storage

Choose a seat height of 350mm, 380mm, 430mm or 460mm. Compare that measurement with the intended users and table height, and consider the underside of the table as well as its top. Seat width, chair depth and room for movement all matter in a dining layout. For shared classroom and dining use, check both arrangements before selecting the size so that the chairs are useful in each setting.

Geo chairs stack up to eight high. Twelve chairs can therefore be stored as a stack of eight plus four, or in smaller stacks that better suit the room. Keep them on level flooring and away from doorways; staff should manage stacking and movement according to local procedures. Inspect the shell, frame and feet during normal furniture checks, and do not allow climbing on chairs or stacks. Geo carries a five-year warranty and complies with BS EN 1729 Parts 1 and 2.

Why Choose Geo Stacking Chair Set of 12?

Geo combines a shaped sitting surface, waterfall front edge and lightweight construction with a clear pack size of 12. It is a useful option for schools furnishing smaller groups across teaching and dining spaces, with four height choices and dimensions that allow table layouts to be planned accurately. Eight-high stacking makes the same chairs practical when floor space needs to be cleared.
