Delivery Policy
At Sensory Education, we are dedicated to ensuring a seamless delivery experience. Please read our delivery policy carefully to understand the terms and options available for all orders placed through our website.
We currently dispatch orders only within the United Kingdom. While we regret any inconvenience this may cause to our international customers, we are actively exploring the potential for international shipping in the future.
Once you place an order, please allow 1–2 business days for us to process and prepare it for dispatch. Our team carefully picks and packs each order to help ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
Some bulky, oversized, specialist, or supplier-dispatched products, including selected furniture and larger equipment items, may have extended lead times. Where this applies, the product page will clearly display a green or orange delivery sticker showing the applicable lead time or special dispatch arrangement for that item.
These product-specific lead times take priority over the general delivery services offered at checkout. Where a product displays a green or orange lead-time sticker, that stated timeframe overrides Budget, Standard, and Express delivery options. Selecting a faster delivery method does not reduce the lead time for these items, as dispatch depends on supplier stock availability, manufacturing schedules, freight arrangements, or specialist handling requirements.
If your order contains a mixture of standard stock items and supplier/manufacturer items, your goods may arrive in separate shipments. For time-sensitive purchases, we strongly recommend checking the delivery information shown on each product page before placing your order.
Budget Delivery
Our budget delivery service is ideal for non-time-sensitive orders. This is a slower delivery method with a delivery time of 5–7 days, as parcels are sent via our third-party courier, Whistl, who then hand over the final mile to Royal Mail. This service offers excellent value at just £3.49, but if you need your items sooner, we recommend selecting a faster option at checkout.
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery is free for orders over £50, or £3.95 for orders under £50. This service typically takes 2–4 business days from dispatch and is suitable for most everyday orders.
Express Tracked Delivery
Express Tracked Delivery is available for a flat fee of £5.99 and offers a faster, fully tracked service for customers who need their items sooner. Orders placed before 2 pm on a working day are shipped the same day. Orders placed over the weekend are shipped on the next working day, usually Monday.
Shipping charges are calculated based on the order value and the delivery method selected. Any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information and instructions for monitoring your parcel’s journey. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.
Please verify that the delivery address provided during checkout is correct and complete. Sensory Education cannot be held responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details. If you need to amend your address after placing an order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible.
Occasionally, packages may be returned to us as undeliverable due to incorrect address details, multiple failed delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery. In these cases, we will contact you to confirm the correct address details and arrange re-delivery where possible. Please note that additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
While we take every precaution to ensure your package arrives safely, unforeseen issues may occasionally arise during transit. If your package is damaged or appears to be lost, please contact our customer service team promptly. We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.
